the Original Beauty Blender
Got my very own original beauty blender!! finally!!
Went I got home, I tried it. The small pink egg-like sponge doubled in size went I placed it under running water, squeezing the excess water after.
I used my liquid foundation with it bounced the product on my face. The result was beautiful. The air brush look was great, it was even and the product was not absorbed by the sponge, rather it was just lying on top of it. It was pure magic.
After that I used the same sponge to apply my 2 way foundation powder (Revlon Photo finish) and the same, no caking, no uneven spots or blotches of dried up make-up, just even application and even tone.
As compared with the DUPE (fake/imitaion) beauty sponge:
The dupe one absorbed most of the make up, although I got some bouncing-the-make-up action also. the dupe one was harder to clean since it got the make-up stuck in the pores of it. I tried soaping it, using shampoo, and eye-make up remover just to recover the original color of the sponge.
the Original Beauty Blender's cleanser was easy to use, I just rubbed some of it on the semi-wet sponge and ran it under cold water, the color was back to original pink and no more product was stuck not the sponge (not that much of it was there to begin with since it was already applied to my skin) although I think that using regular face soap will be enough to clean the Original Beauty Blender, I took it from experience to get the cleanser of the same brand to avoid what I expected to me a hard clean up after use.
Also my dupe sponge was already breaking on most parts, small tears from my several attempts to ride it of stuck make-up.
In conclusion:
I highly recommend the Original Beauty Blender. It was pricey but considering I have a blender type sponge, the dupe one, I got for half the price, the result of the original is far best as compared with the dupe. ITS WORTH IT!!
